LOVERS

As the sun rises
Out of the east
Out of the ocean
It appears

A golden glow flickers
Over the waves
On to the beach
A grain of sand
Multiplied a billion times

And on the beach
Two bodies lie
One awake one not yet
One a man
The other not

His eyes he rubs
A sight to see
His friend awakes
To see the sight

The sun is rising
Out of the ocean
It appears

A golden glow flickers
Majestically across the waves
Onto the beach
A grain of sand Multiplied a billion times.
