TRAIN STATION

People wonder at the loneliness
Of the trains cry
But only you know its real meaning
For many times you
Have heard it
Come and go

The shuffle of many feet
The cries of children
The sounds of friendship
The sounds of loneliness
They have all come
And gone

How long have you been here
How many stories
Have been played out
Within your walls

Have you watched
Things change around you
Old stories remembered
Ah, time passes on
And new stories unfold
And pass on
With the trains lonely cry.
